So here’s Gram and Emmylou’s version of Love Hurts I said I’d post, it got me on a nostalgia trip of country heartbreak songs I was obsessed with as a teenager. I particularly remember sitting at the back of a coach looking out at the motorway drizzle on some grim school trip, can’t remember where we were going, listening to my carefully crafted compilation tape featuring all these songs on my walkman, indulging in melancholy… adolescent angst eh, dear oh dear.
